ACI Check Cable Program (CCP)

The ACI Check Cable Program provides a structured, industry-supported process for raising concerns about electrical cables and obtaining an independent technical assessment.

The program is accessed via Gemcell branches and is designed to deliver a fast, practical response to issues identified in the field or supply chain.

What the Program Is

  • A controlled process for raising cable concerns
  • An independent technical review by ACI and member laboratories
  • A rapid response mechanism for industry issues

What the Program Is Not

  • Not a certification or approval scheme
  • Not a guarantee of compliance or safety
  • Not a replacement for surveillance or regulatory systems

WHO the Program Is For

  • Electrical contractors
  • Wholesale and distribution staff
  • Network and field personnel

All submissions are managed confidentially via Gemcell branches.
